Hello guys !

First... sorry.. I'm french and I don't speak german... not at all !

I installed the lexicon MOD (2.04) on my phpBBforum (2.0.20).

It worked very well 2 or 3 hours, then (without doing nothing special) look at below how notes/words are displaying now !!! ????

Everything seems to be okay on the APC. I can change/insert a new category/keyword/whatever... but... ???? I thought about a codind problem with french specials accents, maybe... what else could it be ? :cry:

Bild

Added after 17 hours 4 minutes:

removing the function "init crosslinks" in lexicon.php, and it works, now. :lol:

Code: Alles auswählen
// init crosslinks
$sql = 'SELECT keyword FROM ' . LEXICON_ENTRY_TABLE . ' ORDER BY keyword';
if ( !($result = $db->sql_query($sql)) )
{
   message_die(GENERAL_ERROR, 'Error getting lexicon entrys', '', __LINE__, __FILE__, $sql);
}

$crosslink_word = array();
$crosslink_url = array();

while ( $row = $db->sql_fetchrow($result) )
{
   $crosslink_word[] = '#\b(' . $row['keyword'] . ')\s#i';
   $crosslink_url[] = '<a href="lexicon.' . $phpEx . '?letter=' . $row['keyword'] . '" class="crosslink">' . $row['keyword'] . '</a> ';
   $crosslink_word[] = '#\s(' . $row['keyword'] . ')\b#i';
   $crosslink_url[] = ' <a href="lexicon.' . $phpEx . '?letter=' . $row['keyword'] . '" class="crosslink">' . $row['keyword'] . '</a>';
}

Hmmm - there must be a problem with the regular expressions which be used by genrate the crosslinks.
Can you say me which french specials accents generate the Problem?
And do you have the same problem by using the phpBB word censorship?

Thanks for your reply.

There is no censored words into the DB (never used this function).

By the other hand, in fact, I don't think there is any relationship with french accents.

No problem with an only word...( it means a very short meaning ! :D )

If there is two words at least, then the "special code" appears. But now, like I said, everything is okay since I removed the incriminated lines. Happy happy to be so intuitive ! :idea:

Don't you think it could be a problem with the phpBB last version (2.2.20)?

Moreover, tell me if you are interested in [my] french version...

thanks again for your help !

No, there should be no problem.

I don't think there is any relationship with french accents.
But I think so. Because there are no problems in any other language. ;)

Can you test it for me please (with some french specials accents) ?
Because the phpBB word censorship works like my lexicon crosswords. ;)

hello !

Like you asked me I tried putting some words with accents in the censorship DB like this:

censored word : à
substitute = a

It doesn't work no more. But something changed :

Whereas the sentence : "Une entrée à être" (it does'nt make sense in french... just for example)

Then, the result below :
--------------------------------------------------------------------
unehref="lexicon.php?letter=" class="crosslink"> entréehref="lexicon.php?letter=" class="crosslink"> à être
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, there's no code between "à" and "être". Before there was a code after every word.

anyway...
